Terms & Policies
Welcome to Lana Listens! By accessing our website, purchasing digital products, or booking coaching services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. COACHING & PACKAGES
• Cancellation & Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests require at least 24 hours' notice. Any missed session or cancellation made with less than 24 hours' notice will be forfeited without refund or rescheduling.
• Package Expirations: 4-session packages expire 5 months from the date of purchase. 8-session packages expire 9 months from the date of purchase. Any unused session credits remaining after expiration will be forfeited.
• Refunds & Payment Plans: Once a coaching session has been delivered or a package has commenced (including onboarding or intake review), no refunds will be issued. If enrolled in a payment plan, payment obligations remain in effect regardless of session attendance or early discontinuation.
• Scope of Practice: Coaching services provided by Lana Listens are educational and developmental in nature, focusing on communication skills and relationship growth. Coaching is not mental health therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or legal advice.
• Client Responsibility & Results Disclaimer: Coaching outcomes depend on individual client engagement, implementation, and effort. You remain fully responsible for your own choices and actions. Specific results are not guaranteed, and non-attainment of desired outcomes does not constitute grounds for a refund.
• Confidentiality: All session discussions remain strictly private and confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., imminent threat of harm to self or others).
• Termination by Lana Listens: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate coaching services if the relationship falls outside the scope of coaching (including situations requiring clinical mental health support). In such cases, a prorated refund for unused sessions may be issued at our discretion.
2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & DOWNLOADS
• All Sales Final: Due to the immediate access and downloadable nature of digital products (including guides, workbooks, tools, templates, and courses), all digital product sales are final and non-refundable. If you experience technical issues downloading your files, please contact us for assistance.
• Intellectual Property: All content, materials, and digital files are the exclusive intellectual property of Lana Listens. Purchases are for individual, personal use only and may not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, resold, or uploaded to public or shared platforms.
3. PRIVACY POLICY
• Information Collection: We collect personal information (such as your name, email address, payment details, and form responses) when you register, book a session, download resources, or subscribe to our email newsletter.
• Use of Information: Personal information is used solely to deliver coaching services, process payments, send requested materials, and share newsletter tips or program announcements. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We do not sell or trade your data. We share necessary information only with trusted third-party software providers performing operational services on our behalf.
• Cookies: Our web properties use standard cookies and tracking technology to improve site performance and analytics. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser at any time.
4. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
• Lana Listens participates in select affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a small commission if you purchase products or services through third-party links on our site (such as recommended books or journals), at no additional cost to you. Recommendations are based on honest opinions and personal usage.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, INDEMNIFICATION & GOVERNING LAW
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lana Listens, its owner(s), operators, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in coaching services or use of digital materials.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lana Listens and its owner(s), operators, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising out of your participation in coaching services or breach of these Terms.
• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
